Oh man guys, I thought I was going to lose a very important wardrobe element…my bright yellow thrift store find cardigan.
I’ve had this baby for 7 years now and it only has two buttons left on it. But it is soft and is this ridiculous yellow that actually looks good on me. I pulled it out of the laundry the other day to find a hole forming in the back of the right sleeve. Heartbroken and full of worry that this was the end for my bright yellow wearing days I folded it neatly in my closet until I could come up with a way to salvage it. Possibly a yellow vest would be in my future? But the good lord was looking down on me during a recent target visit…for $15 bucks I found an exact color match yellow cardigan.

We’ve been getting in the hot tub almost every night lately. So our downstairs bathroom smells like delicious vacation, with the wafting of pool chemicals permeating the vicinity. We’ve been getting in so much because James has been pretty sore every night because of this…

and old mudroom removed. Here was what it looked like before as a refresh.
So of course, I can’t just let James only do that for the weekend. Because I’m insane, I rush out of the shower to tell him we need to move his office that is housed in the extra closet located in the back room. Why? Because I want to demolish it right now. And because he is insane, he does it.
He wanted to make sure you all saw his tum tum.
He is my hairless cat. Anyway, how about a tum tum update from me? Here ya go at exactly 6 months out.
I was really tired and had just woken up and my contacts were so dry I couldn’t’ open my eyes. I have NOT been working out really and I eat either cookies, milkshakes, or ice cream every night, and at least a glass of beer or wine. Thank god for breastfeeding and its amazing calories burning ways. Back to the house…
Nothing a potted plant can’t distract the eye from. And on top of all of the above this weekend my good friend Austyn came in town with her little one.
And when I say little one I don’t really mean it. This girl was born in late November at 5 weeks early and still weighs just as much as my 6 month old. The cuteness of baby rolls are awesome…and that hair. Oh my gosh. #babyfever.
